The vast majority of Catholics do know what the Mass is. Thus, they don’t understand, appreciate, or love it as they ought. This ignorance is at the root of our present and terrible crisis. Jesus Christ renews His Passion and Sacrifice on the Cross at Mass, thereby giving perfect glory to God and salvation to mankind. God applies the merits of His unbloody sacrifice to those who attend at Mass.
