Guided by the Feasts of the Church

Too often we want to know or experience directly what Heaven is saying to us. (This leads some to give undeserved attention to unapproved private revelations.) Instead, put more faith in what, without any doubt, comes from God. He speaks to us through the Church's feasts. For example, in these past weeks God is speaking to us about the importance of Christ's Kingship, venerating the saints, aiding the poor souls, pondering the Four Last Things, and growing in faith, hope, and charity. It is so important that you make a greater effort to live based on the Faith, not on secular [...]

The Advent Wreath

2023-12-22T08:21:13-05:00

The Advent Wreath is full of rich symbolism. The circular shape evokes eternity and the evergreen represents hope and renewal. Purple stands for penance and rose for joy. Each colored candle represents a millennia and a person(s). A blessed and lighted candle always symbolizes Christ. Each candle also represents a great truth about Christ: [1] He will come again in power to judge all. [2] He will judge me at the moment of my death. [3] Jesus comes to me with His grace, now, especially at Mass. [4] Jesus came in the flesh to save us - to save me. Hope [...]

As A Man Hopes in His Heart So He Is

2022-12-18T06:36:51-05:00

Every single human seeks joy, but we are always looking in the wrong place. Our habitual thoughts [hopes] make us who we are. True and lasting joy comes from Christ. Without Him, man is filled with sadness. By abiding in Him, our joy is complete. The Day of Wrath will be one of great joy for those called to eternal beatitude. Christ comes through Our Lady and thus she is the Cause of Our Joy. Nothing should take away our joy for we should allow nothing to take us away from Jesus.

A Potent Collect Prayer

2022-11-26T07:31:19-05:00

Draw your attention to the Church’s Collect Prayer in general and today in particular. We beg God for an increase of faith, hope and charity. We can’t grow in them based on our own will and effort. God promises them to us and they are His free gifts to us. Nevertheless, we must do our part to merit them. We also ask God to help us love His Commandments. Too often men erroneously view God’s law as burdensome; yet it is an expression of His love.

Population Implosion

2022-10-20T12:45:12-04:00

Overpopulation is a lie. This myth was popularized by Paul Erhlich in his work, Population Bomb (1968). The Georgia Guidestones enshrine this 'culture of death' by advocating a green agenda, a one world goverment and a worldly spirituality. Yet the real disaster we are facing is a vast population decrease. Given current birth control trajectories, most nations will lose half their population by 2021. The deep wound causing this is despair and self-hatred. Supernatural hope is the solution.
