The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the principle and the source of all the mysteries of His life. Thus, a simple way to grow in devotion to It is spend time considering how everything He said and did are expressions of the infinite love burning in His adorable Heart. For example, that love prompts Him to teach the truth, to teach through His Church, and to give specific commands (which may not even make sense to our human reason). Then offer reparation for all those who hold and promote error, refusing to obey Christ’s teachings. The greatest act of love we can give to the Sacred Heart, and greatest reparation, is to receive Him worthily in Holy Communion.
