The Sacred Heart is the summary of our religion, of the whole mystery of redemption. In the feast of Corpus Christi the Church professes her true faith in Jesus Christ. Yet far too frequently we conform our faith in Christ to the life that we already live, a worldly life, even a sinful life. To receive Jesus in Holy Communion is the most important act we can perform. Do our actions show we believe this? What sacrifices do I make to receive Him worthily?
