An extremely important aspect of the Holy Ghost's mission is that He teaches all truth. He helps us truly know who Christ is and to truly love Him. The most important way He does this is through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. We are to use the visible signs at Mass to grow in our Faith in the invisible mysteries. If we remain only at the level of the visible, at what we understand with our human reason, then we are missing the most important things at Mass! Sadly, all the changes introduced into the Mass after Vatican Two have impaired this work of the Holy Ghost and impeded within the souls of Catholics faith from developing and the love of Christ from being nourished. Let us consider just a few sublime mysteries of the Mass: [1] Christ's Sacrifice on the cross is made present; [2] Christ is the primary priest; [3] Christ is truly present in the Holy Eucharist; [4] Christ renews His bitter passion so that you may participate in it; [5] At Mass, His Sacred Heart is pierced and His Precious Blood is shed, and we are called to honor them with the same adoration we render unto the Triune God.
