An excellent hard-hitting sermon combating many of today's errors, including the notion that Muslims and Catholics worship the same God, that the Eastern Orthodox are simply a 'sister Church', and the grave problems seen in Ireland this past week. Although this sermon does not explicitly bring up the dogma that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church, it could perhaps be subtitled "there is no salvation outside a true belief in the Most Blessed Trinity."
The Blessed Trinity is our ultimate goal. Without this Mystery, we cannot be saved. As per the Athanasian Creed, we must believe correctly regarding the Holy Trinity, or else we will not be saved. This is because God has revealed who He is; to reject the Trinity is to reject God. We can only come to know the Father through the Son and the Holy Ghost. The one who does not acknowledge the Son will not be drawn by the Father. In fact, without the Holy Trinity, there is no truth, no love, and no peace. Father explains four historical failures regarding proper belief in the Blessed Trinity: (1) Eastern Orthodox, (2) Muslims, (3) Mormons, and (4) Today's Irish Nation. Truly, belief in this Mystery is most necessary and relevant today!
