The Continuation Desecration of the Church

by Dr. Ivan Poljaković

If you believe that the official Church has changed for the better with the arrival of the new Pope, you are mistaken. The hermeneutic of rupture—a radical break with tradition—started by Pope Francis continues with the same ferocity under his successor. The destruction of faith persists, but it is now presented with a veneer of elegance and a smile.

Two days before the conclave, I published an article stating that the new pope “must declare Bergoglio a heretic and annul all his (Masonic) pamphlets and revoke all his appointments; anything less than that will only deepen this farce and prolong the agony of the Church.” Unfortunately, our worst fears have been realized. Not only was Bergoglio not declared a heretic, but he has been elevated to the status of a saint.1 All his heresies are not being condemned; on the contrary, they are being strengthened and deepened every day.

The undermining of faith is proceeding at a rapid pace on all fronts. In just 100 days of the new pontificate, we have seen disturbing developments that point to a clear direction. For the sake of brevity, I will focus on three key examples.

A Jubilee for Heresy

The 2025 Jubilee Year should be an incentive for spiritual renewal and conversion. However, a closer look at the official calendar reveals a shocking inclusion: a pilgrimage reserved for the Tenda di Gionata association on September 6.2

Tenda di Gionata is a dissident "Catholic" association whose members identify as "LGBT Catholics." They promote and celebrate sodomy—a sin that "cries out to heaven"—while having the audacity to call themselves Catholics.3

It is crucial to clarify the terminology often abused in high church circles today. Individuals who experience same-sex attraction can be devout Catholics and even saints if they adhere to the Church's teaching and live a virtuous life. However, the members of this group are not faithful Catholics with struggles; they are genderists and advocates for sodomy, promoting an ideology fundamentally at odds with Church doctrine. This is why it is essential to distinguish between those who suffer from same-sex attraction and seek to live virtuously, and those who justify or advocate for sodomy and gender ideology.

The latter are enemies of the Church.

Therefore, the term “LGBT Catholic” is an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms invented to subvert the Church from within. One can be an advocate for the LGBT agenda or a Catholic, but not both. It is absolutely shameful and disgusting that the Vatican has included the greatest enemies of the Church in its pilgrimage program.

The New Papacy and the “Parade of Sodomites”

None of this is accidental. The preparation for the solemn reception of sodomites is taking place at the highest levels. The faithful are being prepared for a new doctrine: inclusiveness. On August 28, 2025, Pope Leo XIV received "nun" Lucia Caram, who is known for her public advocacy of same-sex "marriage." We recall her 2023 statement: "I would be in favor of homosexuals getting married in the Church because God always blesses love."4 Three days later, on September 1, the new pope received James Martin, a well-known advocate for same-sex relationships. Martin promptly sent a message to the world: "I received a message from Pope Leo that he will continue with the same openness that Pope Francis showed to LGBTQ people."5 With this, the people are now ready for the parade of sodomites; the green light has come from the top. The desecration can begin.

To make matters worse, the Vatican has removed the Priestly Fraternity of Pius X (SSPX) from the pilgrimage list.6 The brotherhood of priests that adheres to two millennia of Church teaching has been erased. They are a nuisance to the hierarchy because they do not fit into the postulates of this false church. But those who call sodomy "Christ's self-gift" have a place in the first pews.7 This is the “inclusiveness” of the synodal church (or more accurately, a sect) where everyone is welcome except true Catholics. True Catholics have become undesirable, while heretics are now eligible.

A New Wave of Heretical Appointments

Ideological suitability is also reflected in the new appointments, following the exact same pattern as under Bergoglio. The vast majority of newly appointed bishops are heretics. We will list just a few for illustration:

  • Reverend Thomas Hennen was promoted to Bishop of the Diocese of Baker, Oregon (USA). He has authored pastoral instructions for “LGBT Catholics,” promoting gender ideology by speaking of “accompaniment” and never of sin. In an article titled "No More Lavender Mafia," Bishop Strickland referred to the appointment of Fr. Hennen: "By appointing the newly elected bishop Father Thomas Hennen as bishop of Baker in Oregon, we are facing a disturbing reality: instead of correcting the trajectory set by Pope Francis, Pope Leo XIV is doubling down – deepening the ambiguity that plagues the Church."8
  • José Antonio Satué Huerto was appointed Bishop of Málaga, Spain. He is known for his enthusiasm for the heretical document Fiducia supplicans, which approves the blessing of same-sex couples.
  • Bishop Shane Mackinlay was appointed Archbishop of Brisbane, Australia. He has repeatedly expressed public support for the ordination of women.9
  • Reverend Beat Grögli was appointed Bishop of St. Gallen, Switzerland. He publicly supports the ordination of women and the blessing of same-sex couples. He says that "the ministry of the ordained can no longer be exclusively male."10
  • The Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life has been "strengthened" with new appointments such as Cardinal Arthur Roche, a hater of the Latin Mass; Cardinal Cristóbal López Romero, a fierce defender of blessing same-sex couples; and Cardinal Jaime Spengler, an active advocate for the Amazonian rite infused with indigenous paganism.11
  • Cardinal Mario Grech, Secretary General of the Synod on Synodality, has been appointed to the Dicastery for Bishops. He advocates for legalizing same-sex unions and changing the Church's teaching on homosexuality.12

A Masonic Agenda: The Meeting on Human Fraternity

With heretics in such high positions, it is no surprise that the Vatican is organizing the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity from September 12-13, 2025. The theme of the meeting is "Be Human,"13 and it will focus on earthly issues like governance, economics, health, and artificial intelligence. The second day will be dedicated to fraternity with musical artists from all over the world. "The event will be the culmination of two days of spiritual and cultural initiatives, serving as a multimedia platform to celebrate the great symbolic 'human embrace', the strength of brotherhood and a shared commitment to the preservation of creation," the organizers write.14

This is a clear continuation of the dilution of faith. This initiative is inspired by the encyclical Fratelli tutti, a Masonic pamphlet, and the Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Coexistence.15 The goal is not to bring souls to salvation, but to create a "heaven on earth" based on naturalism—the belief that human nature is capable of perfecting itself and achieving truth without God's grace or divine revelation.

This is a core Masonic principle. Pope Leo XIII warned of this threat in his 1884 encyclical, Humanum Genus, stating that the ultimate goal of Freemasonry is the "complete overthrow of the whole religious and political order... and its replacement with a new state of affairs in accordance with ideas whose foundations and laws will be drawn from mere naturalism."16

For true Catholics, the ultimate goal is salvation and eternal life in communion with God. The first and most important task of the Church is the salvation of souls. What does the world benefit if it achieves peace and prosperity in this tiny moment of earthly existence, only for its people to end up in the torments of hell because they never heard the call to conversion?

Today's official Church no longer follows Jesus. Like Freemasons, it seeks to create a better world without God—a utopia that leads to destruction. We have seen this before with the French Revolution, Nazism, fascism, communism, and now genderism—all came with the same promise of "heaven on earth" without God.

Why isn't the Vatican organizing a gathering with the theme "Be a Catholic"? Why isn't it addressing the great apostasy from the faith? Why doesn't the Church excommunicate prelates who openly spread heresy? Where is Christ at the "Be Human" rally? He, who was the most perfect human, is not even mentioned. The official Church has become just another NGO.

The apostolic succession has been replaced by the Bergoglio legacy. The desecration of the Church continues, and everyone is silent, pretending that everything is fine. A great apostasy is playing out before our eyes, and the Vatican is preoccupied with secular topics.

Jesus asked, "But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" The Church's "dignitaries" are too preoccupied with earthly things. They need to be reminded of the words of Jesus: „And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be of anxious mind. For all the nations of the world seek these things; and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things shall be yours as well. Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Lk 12:29-32).

Hold on to that "little flock," because the stakes are high—eternal life. The door to eternal life is narrow, so "strive to enter through the narrow gate." (Lk 13:24). Those who walk the wide path have already received their reward.
