St John Eudes, whom St. Pius X calls 'the Apostle and Doctor of the Immaculate Heart,' tells us that Our Lady's Heart is so kind and gentle that she helps all - those who call on her, careless souls who fail to invoke her, and even those who hate her. She spurns no one because her Heart has boundless charity. St. John Damascene extols the Heart of Mary for always and totally being turned towards God. No matter how devoted we are to the Immaculate Heart, we can never love and revere this Heart adequately. Ask God for the grace to transform all the passions of your heart and, in imitation of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, to turn them towards His Divine Majesty.
