In the Company of Saints We Become Saints

During this time of crisis, when we are all under the wrath of God, we have a choice: to go our own way or to strive to become saints in the company of saints. To make a good and right decision, let us keep in mind what Blessed Francis Palau was told by the Church in mystic transports: “If you do not save others, you will not save yourself.” Let us never forget that man cannot save himself. No one can baptize himself, no priest can give himself absolution, and no man can create sanctifying grace. God has made us social beings and we are saved within a society. His Majesty described a healthy faith as a mustard seed that becomes a tree for a flock of birds. Thus, St. Teresa of Jesus insisted: “In the company of Saints we become saints.”
