2017 SERMON ARCHIVE

Last Updated: 20 Jan 2017

Sermons by Fr. Rodríguez in English

San Miguel in Santa Fe

The oldest Catholic Church – still in use – in our country is the chapel of San Miguel in Santa Fe (1610). During the Pueblo Revolt (1680) fiery arrows were shot at the church, 21 Franciscans were martyred, and in the end, St. Michael triumphed. This archangel comes to purge man from worldliness and immaturity, teaching us about prayer, faith, reparation and piety. He cares for the Church militant in this nation and with him, we can be victorious.
