News and Updates
Assisting at a Parish Mission during Lent used to be something every Catholic did. Yet today, such spiritual exercises are available to very few. Therefore, Fr. Michael Rodríguez has allowed the 2024 Lenten Mission he directed to be posted online.
Theme: Salvation, Faith and Humility.
To complete the Mission, spend some time meditating on the talks, pray the Rosary each day, if possible assist at Holy Mass, and most importantly, make a good confession at your local parish.
“Lord, increase our Faith!"

Good Friday Prayer for the Jews
Let us pray also for the perfidious Jews: that our God and Lord would remove the veil from their hearts; that they also may acknowledge our Lord Jesus Christ.
'Amen' is not responded, nor is said 'Let us Pray', or 'Let us kneel', or 'Arise', but immediately is said:
AImighty and everlasting God, who drivest not away from Thy mercy even the perfidious Jews: hear our prayers, which we offer for the blindness of that people; that, acknowledging the light of Thy truth, which is Christ, they may be rescued from their darkness. Through the same Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
A spiritual communion can be offered any time during the day. A person can also make numerous such acts throughout the day. The grace which one receives though this act is dependent upon the sate of one's soul, as well as one's fervor, purity of heart and sanctity.
There is no one single prayer by which one can offer a spiritual communion. Many variations exist. This one is based on a popular prayer by St. Alphonsus Liguori and augmented by Fr. Rodríguez with passages from Scripture and insights from St. John Eudes and St. Louis de Montfort.
